Norris Ford is inviting you to join our family as a Service Technician Apprentice!
The apprentice's primary responsibility is to work beside a trained technician to inspect, diagnose, adjust, service, repair, a wide variety of vehicles.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Service department operation hours: Monday-Friday (7:30am - 5:30pm)
  • Saturday shift required (9:00am - 1:00pm)

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Safely conduct general maintenance and minor repairs, as instructed.
  • Must be able to perform the work described in the work orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Strong organizational sills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.

Become a part of our Collision Centre Team!

Norris Ford is inviting you to join our family as a Journeyman Auto Body Technician!
We are looking to expand our Collision Centre Team in our new, busy Ford Facility, with the addition of a Journeyman Auto Body Technician.

DUTIES

  • Repair and replace damaged motor vehicle structures and body parts, and interior and exterior finishes.
  • Frame straightening, surface preparation, sheet metal work, and refinishing.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • 40-hour, five-day week with occasional overtime required.
  • Indoors in a brand new state-of-the-art facility.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strength, heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail.
  • Good color vision.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Commitment to safe work habits.

QUALIFICATION

  • Technician should have his/her own tools.
  • Journeyman experience is an asset.
